The space

A newly rebuilt upstairs home in the heart of Old Wailuku Town, part of a small gated community of only five units. Bright, airy and quiet, with the trade winds through the windows and air conditioning in each room. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, the guest room has two twin beds, and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room. Two bathrooms with open, tiled showers, a fully equipped kitchen with full-size appliances and island seating for four, a dining table for four, smart TV and Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer in the unit, and a patio with a BBQ grill. Ten minutes from Kahului Airport and a good fit for couples, small families, and professionals here for an extended stay.

The location

Steps from the heart of historic Wailuku: coffee shops, family-run restaurants, galleries, boutiques and the ʻĪao Theater, with Wailuku First Friday each month. About 10 minutes to Kahului Airport (OGG), 5 miles to Kanahā Beach Park, about 15 minutes to Maʻalaea Harbor and the aquarium, 12 miles to Kihei and Wailea beaches, 30 minutes to West Maui, and half a mile to the main bus line.

Good to know

Small, gated community with keyless entry. Quiet hours are 9 PM to 8 AM; no smoking, no pets. A travel crib is available on request. Check-in is 4 PM and check-out 10 AM. Additional units on the property can be added for larger groups. Free parking on site.
