I’m also so happy you were able to experience the Road to Hana! I was actually wondering if you ended up finding a good tour, so it made me smile to read that you did and that you loved it. It really is such an incredibly beautiful part of Maui.
And I’m especially happy you made it up to Haleakala. It is such a magical and special place. My boys and I go up there all the time. In fact, we were just up there recently and my son brought his easel and set it up to paint while we were there. He’s an artist and incredibly committed to it. He even went to school in Florence, Italy, to study art, so seeing him painting up at Haleakala was pretty special for me. I completely understand why it was an absolute must for your family!
I absolutely loved having you and your family stay with us. You were such a pleasure to communicate with from beginning to end, and I only wish you had been able to stay longer too! I certainly hope that “we will be back” becomes a reality because I would be so happy to welcome you all back to Maui someday.
