It is the quieter, greener side of Wailea: fairways and ocean horizon from the lanai, and the beaches, shops and restaurants a few minutes away.

No. It is an ocean-view resort community set on the Wailea Blue golf course, about a mile from the sand. Wailea Beach and Ulua Beach are a few minutes' drive (or a longer walk) away, and the panoramic ocean view from the lanai is the reason guests choose this villa.

Yes, the villa has its own washer and dryer, which makes longer stays and beach days much easier.
The Shops at Wailea, Wailea Village, the Wailea Golf Club courses and the Wailea Tennis Club are all within the resort community. Wailea and Ulua beaches are about a mile away, Kihei restaurants are a short drive, and Kahului Airport (OGG) is roughly 30 minutes by car.
Yes. Wailea Grand Champions is an apartment-zoned resort condominium on Maui County's Minatoya List. Under Bill 9 (signed December 2025), short-term rental in these units may continue through December 31, 2030 outside West Maui, so your stay is fully legal and the villa is registered for Hawaii transient accommodations tax (TA-116-313-0880-06). The County is also considering a hotel-zoning path (Bill 88) that could preserve rentals in complexes like this one, and legal challenges to Bill 9 are pending.
