The space

The upstairs half of a fully rebuilt Wailuku duplex, finished in 2025, sleeping up to eight. Upstairs means light, air and mountain views from the lanai, where the trade winds do the work in the mornings. Inside: a bathroom with a dual vanity and tiled tub and shower, an all-new kitchen with an island for four and a dining table for four, a washer and dryer in the unit, air conditioning in each bedroom and ceiling fans in every room. A gas grill is out back for evenings at home. Comfortable for a longer stay, and a favorite with companies bringing crews to Maui.

Two bedrooms with queen beds, a third bedroom with two twin beds, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. One full bathroom. Sleeps up to eight.

The location

Historic Wailuku Town is at the door: coffee shops, family diners, galleries and boutiques within walking distance, the ʻĪao Theater and First Friday block party in town, and ʻĪao Valley minutes away. Kahului Airport is about 10 minutes, Kanahā Beach Park about 5 miles, Maʻalaea Harbor about 15 minutes, Kihei and Wailea beaches around 12 miles, and West Maui about half an hour. The main bus line is half a mile away.

Good to know

Gated property with exterior security cameras and keyless entry. Quiet hours are 9 PM to 8 AM; no smoking, no pets. A travel crib is available on request. Check-in is 4 PM and check-out 10 AM. Ask about renting the entire duplex (sleeps sixteen) or adding nearby units for a larger group or crew. Free parking on site.
